We took a closer look at the craft beer scene in Cambodia and if there are any nonalcoholic beers available.
Where to find non alcoholic beer in Cambodia
The craft beer scene in Cambodia are dominated by names like Riel Brewing, Cerevisia Craft Brewery, and Fuzzy Logic. There are also some small-scale brewers like Notorious Bong and Projekt Brews around. Whereas the bigger players are usually located in Phnom Penh, the small town of Kampot has a few smaller brewers like the latter we mentioned.
The only one of these Cambodian craft beer brewers that have experimented with alcohol-free craft beer is Riel Brewing. They’re located in Phnom Penh close to the Tuol Sleng Museum. It’s no guarantee that they will have their non alcoholic craft beers available when you visit, but it definitely is the best bet in Cambodia.
Some bars in Phnom Penh stock Heineken 0.0%. The best chance of finding these are at the craft beer bars Embargo and The Box Office. They might also have some low alcohol options in their selection.

How much does non alcoholic craft beer cost in Cambodia?
In & Out Market in BKK1, Phnom Penh, has occasionally had some non-alcoholic beers. The prices for them would be $1-2 and in a bar, you´re more likely to pay $3-4 for a non alcoholic macro lager.
History of craft beer in Cambodia
The history of craft beer in Cambodia starts somewhere around 2014. Breweries like Kingdom Breweries, Himawari Microbrewery, Cerevisia Craft Brewery, and Riel Brewing all started popping up around that time.
In the beginning, they struggled to sell their beers and it’s just the past few years it has gotten a bit easier. Nowadays you can find Cambodian craft beers in many restaurants in Phnom Penh. Riel Brewing and Cerevisia also have their own taprooms where you can find craft beer in Phnom Penh.
