This brewery has its history in an online craft beer shop called Crafty AF. UK drinkers might have heard of that shop before as it became quite well-known a couple of years back. History of Lowtide Brewing Co
The story of Lowtide Brewing Co started already in 2019. It was the two founders Rob and Dave that started exploring non-alcoholic craft beer options.
They realized that there weren’t any shops that were selling all their favourite NA craft beers. Not in their city of Bath in the UK nor online. Still today there are not that many webshops focusing on non-alcoholic craft beer.
These guys decided to fix that so they created the website Crafty AF. Even if their website was selling the best non-alcoholic craft beers in the country they felt something was missing. They thought that the consumers were still not getting good enough NA beer. Also, they missed the variety you could find with the alcoholic versions.
That’s when they realized they will have to start brewing if they want to be able to get all the variety they want to offer their customers. That is how Lowtide Brewing Co was founded.

NEIPA The Cosmic Turtle
Lowtide promises great artwork on their cans but we think it’s the Cosmic Turtle that really stands out. On this can you can see a funny-looking animal and despite the name, we are not really sure it is a turtle. Anyways, this Lowtide beer has a nice smooth mouthfeel with notes of tropical fruits from 4 different hops. The hops used are Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado.

Promises I Made Myself
This Lowtide IPA is actually one of our favourite non-alcoholic IPAs. It´s a collaboration with Newton Park Brewery and it is just brilliant. I managed to get my hands on this beer on tap at Pien in Helsinki. It’s a west-coast IPA which is one of my favourite styles. While you can still taste it is alcohol free, it was this Lowtide beer that made me realize that good NA craft beers can be made. Grapefruit, Papaya, and Mango so you can expect tropical all the way but with that nice west-coast bite.

West Coast Hop Lock
The West Coast Hop Lock is a non-alcoholic west coast Pale Ale. It´s heavy on the hops and we are not really sure what makes it a Pale Ale instead of an IPA but it’s brewed with Citra, Azacca, and Ekuanot. The West Coast Hop Lock is a non alcoholic vegan Pale Ale.
