Introduction
The Easy Rider Bulldog is a non alcoholic craft beer brewed by Swedish brewery – Gotlands Bryggeri. It is one of the oldest craft beer breweries in Sweden, having been around since 1995. Their brewery is located on S:t Hansgatan in Visby if you are wondering what the text on the bottle is all about. They also have a non-alcoholic lager called Wisby Alkoholfri Lager.
Today Gotlands Bryggeri is owned by Spendrup Holding BV which is a large Swedish brewery that has been operating since 1897.
Tasting Notes
The first impression of the Easy Rider Bulldog was that there is quite a bit of head that sticks around for a while. I also got a big whiff of some malty aroma when I poured the beer into my glass.
Flavorwise, this Swedish non-alcoholic craft beer is not actually that malty. Here the hops shine through and it has quite a grassy flavor. I take another sniff of the beer and it still smells like a grassy lager.
There´s a little lingering bitterness to the beer and it´s quite highly carbonated. In my first sip I felt a bit of sourness but the subsequent sips I could not taste it as much. Maybe in the initial second of the sip and then it disappears.
It´s light-bodied but that is to be expected from a nonalcoholic beer. Actually, it has a bit more of a body than most NA beers and that can probably be attributed to the fact it´s actually a low alcohol beer. On the bottle it says that this NA craft beer has an alcohol percentage of 0.4%.
Easy Rider Bulldog Calories and Nutrition
The Easy Rider Bulldog has 20 kcal per 100 ml so it´s a bit lower in calories than many other non-alcoholic beers. In the ingredients, I could not find anything out of the ordinary but it is brewed with both malted barley and wheat. Sugars are less than 0.5 percent.
The ABV is 0.4% and the IBU is 43.

This beer is nothing to write home about but I wouldn´t be upset if I ordered it at a bar. A quite decent alcohol free IPA in my taste. Above average for sure and we are happy we made this Easy Rider Bulldog review.
