Introduction
Before reviewing the More Brewing Hazy IPA we reviewed the lager from the same brewery. We were really impressed by the More Brewing Lager and we gave it a good rating. After seeing they also have a Hazy IPA we were really happy. Admittedly, we thought to ourselves, there’s no way they can have made this beer just as good – the first beer must just have been a fluke.
Well, we were wrong. Whoever is the brewmaster at this Finnish brewery is doing a fantastic job. There might be a macro company behind this brewery, but if they make non-alcoholic craft beers this good, we don’t care.
Tasting Notes
As you can see from the picture the beer looks nice and hazy.
It has a great soft floral aroma much what we expected from a Hazy IPA.
When the first sip hits our mouth we get the medium-high carbonation tickling our tongue. After that, we get a lot of pineapple flavors. It also tastes a little bit like your grandmother’s amazing baked bread. After that there are some grassy hop flavours that makes us think of just about any good craft beer.
There’s no long lingering aftertaste but that’s to be expected from a Hazy IPA. It’s just fruity and juicy and we could definitely drink a few of these.
Beer Name Calories and Nutrition
We expected a bit of a higher calorie content in this one and we were right. It has 26 kcal per 100 ml which is about 85 kcal per can. Still not bad compared to normal-strength craft beers that are easily double the calories. No weird additives in the beer, just good old hops, yeast, and malted barley. Oh yeah, and some wheat.
The ABV is 0.5%. This beer was just released when we reviewed it so we could not find the IBU.
Beer Name Rating
We were really skeptical of More Brewing when we first heard about them. It’s affiliated with Hartwall which is one of the largest drink companies in Finland. Then we had their Lager and we were really impressed. Now when we’ve also had a Hazy IPA from them we know these guys are the real deal.
Now we’re already looking forward to what they will release after this. As for now, they probably make the best non-alcoholic craft beers in Finland. Great job.
