Introduction
I don’t know why quite a few non alcoholic craft beers have been exploding on me lately. That actually happened with two beers from Big Drop Brewing. It happened with the Pine Trail Pale Ale and now it happened with the Paradiso Citra IPA. It ended with me having beer all over the carpet. Unfortunately, it got soaked into the carpet so I could not even lick it up!
Anyways, despite the name, this beer is not only brewed with Citra hops . It actually has a variety of different hops.

Tasting Notes
This beer actually has a really nice golden color. Similar to that of the Tropical IPA from Drop Bear Beer. It looks better than most non-alcoholic craft beers which is always a plus even if it does not necessarily reflect the taste of the beer.
The beer has a nice citrus aroma but complemented by some malts. Not very carbonated though, it’s got more of a creamy mouth feel. It’s not a bad NA beer but I like the Pine Trail Pale Ale better.

This beer was not really carbonated enough. I‘m not sure if it actually had to do with the explosion the can caused when I opened it. Perhaps it had not been stored properly by the distributors.
That means, there is a chance this review does not necessarily reflect the taste of the beer if you get it from somewhere else. I found this non-alcoholic craft beer in Hong Kong so it had definitely traveled quite far to get into my hands. However, the beer looks good and the taste is decent. I would have it again but definitely would not make an effort to find it. The Poolside DDH IPA from the same brewery is, on the other hand, one of the best non-alcoholic IPAs I have had.
